An 18th century manor house with a striking staircase and uninterrupted views over the valley near Lauzerte, in the south of the Quercy Blanc region. A small road runs alongside the property in a village, on the best exposed hillside of the valley. Slightly set back below, the manor house is built on the ruins of an old castle. At the outbreak of the French Revolution, the castle towers were demolished as they were deemed too ostentatious. One of the castle's square towers with three levels has been partly rebuilt. Slightly set back at the south-west corner, it connects to the main building. Its pavilion roof is clad with old flat tiles. A large lean-to, used as a double garage, adjoins the tower.
