A 15th century house and its outbuildings, with a view over the countryside and at least 4,000 m² of land, 10 minutes from a TGV train station, on the outskirts of Le-Mans.
This residence is not only set in the countryside but is also on the outskirts of Le-Mans. It is less than 10 minutes from the town centre and a TGV train station, with 55-minute links to Paris-Montparnasse. 200 km from the centre of Paris. Le-Mans, with a good public transport network, has good motorway and rail connections to large French towns and to London.
An hour from the Loire Valley (Anjou and Touraine regions), Le-Mans comprises a wonderfully preserved medieval town, known as the Plantagenet City, protected by an even older perimeter wall dating from the Gallo-Roman era.
20 minutes from Le-Man’s 24-hour racing circuit, where an internationally renowned endurance car race takes place, as well as the Porsche-Experience-Centre driving school and the International Le-Mans-Karting go-cart track. Less than 15 minutes from two golf courses, including the Golf-du-Circuit (set in the middle of the circuit along the mythical Hunaudières straight).
10 minutes from Le-Pôle-Européen-du-Cheval equestrian centre and a forest estate, providing the town with green open space. 15 minutes from an aerodrome near to the circuit.
This property stands on the side of a little road that leads to a village. Facing the countryside, it has a superb view over undulating French bocage countryside. On the right, once through the entrance gates, is an outbuilding with garages and a barn, followed by a courtyard, with the south facade of the residence on the right-hand side. Beyond the courtyard is a landscape garden and a swimming pool area, concealed behind hedges. Further away is a meadow. Behind the outbuilding, another L-shaped construction has its own entrance and grounds. It could be used for a professional activity or converted into more houses. Although available for sale independently, it could be included in the property.
