The main houseThis rectangular house is composed of two buildings from different eras. One originally dates from the 15th century and the other is an old farm building which was raised in the 1970’s. The old section comprises reception rooms, whilst the new section houses a kitchen and bedrooms.
The entrance hall is in the 15th century building. On the right-hand side is a small lounge or study, followed by two cellars, one of which has a door, set in the gable wall, leading outside. Straight on in the hall is a laundry room and, on the left, is a kitchen, with a stairway which leads to the reception rooms, a dining room and a lounge. The kitchen precedes a hall area, with a second entrance, a bedroom, with a dressing room and a bathroom, a toilet as well as a stairway going up to four bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.
The 15th century section features terracotta floor tiles as well as exposed stone and lime-rendered walls. The new section has 1970’s floor tiles with painted walls. The north side has double glazing whilst the south side has single glazing.
