The manor houseThis manor house, constructed from freestone in the 18th century, reflects a pure Directoire style, with a triangular pediment, a central wrought iron balcony and a slate roof. It is adjoined by a 20th century house.
First floor
The courtyard to the rear of the manor house provides direct access to the first floor of the house via a gallery, leading to the main stairway, a large lounge and a first suite.
The latter comprises a private lounge, with parquet flooring and a marble fireplace, a bedroom with a view over the parklands and parquet flooring, a bathroom and a toilet. A large lounge features a marble fireplace, ceiling moulding including a rose and randomly-matched parquet flooring. Said large lounge gives access to a library, with herringbone pattern parquet flooring, a fireplace and a vaulted ceiling. A stained-glass bay window looks out over the parklands. A corridor, enhanced with stained glass windows, leads from the library to the adjoining house as well as to a second suite. The latter includes a large bedroom, with a view over the swimming pool, and a bathroom with a toilet.
Ground floor
The ground floor is reached via a wooden stairway, composed of two flights with an intermediate landing, housed in the entrance hall. A gallery, below that of the main entrance, runs through the building, leading directly to the terrace and the parklands. This gallery provides access to a third suite and a dining room. The third suite comprises a lounge, with travertine stone floor tiles, featuring black inlaid decoration, and a marble fireplace, a bedroom, with a view over the terrace, terracotta floor tiles and wainscoting, a bathroom and a shower room. The dining room features travertine stone floor tiles, featuring black inlaid decoration, wainscoting and display cabinets that flank a stone fireplace. The dining room is linked to a kitchen via a corridor which is also used as a pantry. The kitchen has a French ceiling and terracotta floor tiles. A back kitchen is laid out under the hillside. The kitchen opens on to a covered patio, under the corridor linking the manor house to the 20th century house. This patio gives access to the terrace that looks down over a section of the parklands.
The other side of the patio provides access to the ground floor of the adjoining house. A laundry room and a toilet. Also on this level and reached via the terrace, an orangery, with terracotta floor tiles and an atrium window, is laid out as a large dining room.
