PLACE OF DISCOVERY OF CRO-MAGNON MAN - CLASSIFIED WORLD HERITAGE BY UNESCO - The Cro-Magnon Shelter, place of discovery of Cro-Magnon Man, Homo Sapiens. The Cave of the Sorcerer, parietal cave of reference decorated with a rich prehistoric engraved decoration. Two major prehistoric sites for the study of the History of Humanity, their museums, their collections, Dordogne, France. In the Vallée de l'Homme, near Lascaux, which is subject to the same UNESCO classification as these two sites since the classification in 1979 by UNESCO of the 'Prehistoric sites and decorated caves of the Vézère valley'.
