The bones and ornaments are today in various museums including the Natural History Museum in Paris. A museum was created on site after 15 years of work to unify the then fragmented site and inaugurated in 2014 by internationally renowned paleontologist and paleoanthropologist Yves Coppens. It is made up of a house and a 19th century farmhouse in freestone, completely restored with fine materials and fitted out as a museum.
