A late 19th century property in need of renovation surrounded by 13 hectares of farmland and 8 km from the sea. Located in the commune's agricultural zone, 2 km from the village centre, this former wine estate, built at the foot of vineyards, is remarkably peaceful. A little-used communal path leads up to the property entrance. From here, a tree-lined track leads eastwards to the estate's many large outbuildings.
Several eras coexist, from the manor house, which dates back to 1896 and which absorbed an older 17th century part which was the remains of a former convent, to the outbuildings, which were probably built at the end of the 19th century. There are four small houses surrounding the outbuildings, which were originally used as accommodation or workshops during grape harvesting, but which are now in need of restoration.
An iron gate leads to the garden, where the south-facing facade of the imposing bourgeois house can be seen. It has light-coloured rendering and 22 straight windows set at regular intervals, all protected by shutters and topped by a moulded stringcourse on each of the two floors of the western part of the house. A predominantly blue mosaic frieze wraps around the house, adding originality and refinement to the main facade. The tiled roof has four slopes. Two roof windows and three chimneys stand out in different places. Before the gate, the building can also be accessed via a service entrance to the east.
The manor house actually houses two independent houses under one roof, on the east and west sides, which could easily be brought back together to restore the original layout. The western section is two storeys' high, while the eastern section is three storeys' high, as evidenced by the four small windows above those on the first floor on the right-hand side of the main facade.
The house, whose main south-facing facade is bordered by a large stone-paved terrace after which there is a vast garden, is set in 13 hectares of farmland.
