A family property since 1870, the approximately 28 hectares of production are divided between two appellations: 4.87 hectares in AOC Sauternes, 19.43 hectares in Bordeaux (16.86 hectares in red and 2.57 hectares in white) plus 3.4375 hectares of land to be planted with rights. It really took off in the 1950s. In the mid-1970s, a very strong commitment to quality was undertaken by adopting very modern means of vinification and production. This vineyard of about 24 ha is nestled in the heart of the Graves AOC. The terroir is made up of siliceous gravel with a gravelly subsoil, and the presence of bands of asteriated limestone ensures excellent soil drainage.
