Charter for referencing and classifying property ads on the Propriétés Le Figaro website

The purpose of this charter is to inform users about the listing conditions and classification criteria for property ads published on the Propriétés Le Figaro website (hereinafter the "Site").

1. Conditions for listing ads

Only advertisers, individuals or professionals, who have signed a contract with Figaro Classifieds may place property ads on the Site.

Advertisers acting in a professional capacity are required to hold the T "Transaction" card or the G "Management" card enabling them to rent or sell real estate on behalf of third parties.

The publication of ads on the Site is reserved for luxury properties offered for sale or rental.

Propriétés le Figaro reserves the right to discontinue an advertisement published on the Site if it appears that the advertiser:

  • does not comply with the legal and regulatory provisions in force and in particular those relating to information obligations concerning real estate offered for rent or sale;
  • does not comply with its contractual commitments (non-payment, publication of advertisements in a geographical area that does not correspond to that ordered by the advertiser, etc,).

2.Criteria for ranking ads

The ads are classified according to their relevance according to the search criteria provided by users (geographical location of the property sought and/or maximum budget).

Users have the possibility to refine their search by adding additional criteria, such as the maximum or minimum surface area, the characteristics of the property sought, etc.

Ads can also be viewed according to:

  • "new properties"
  • "increasing price"
  • "decreasing price"
  • "increasing surface area"
  • "decreasing surface area"
  • "increasing number of rooms"
  • "decreasing number of rooms"

Paid options are available to advertisers who wish to highlight their ad(s). Depending on the options subscribed, their ad(s) are displayed first, while taking into account, if necessary, the search criteria provided by users.
