An amazing charterhouse

This splendid charterhouse is located in the Gard department at the bottom of a small valley. The listed property, erected in 1203, features various buildings revolving around two courtyards and two cloisters for a total surface of 43 ha – of which 24 are covered with woods. « It’s a piece of History, says Patrice Besse agency. » Highlights of the estate include: amazing vaults, glazed tiles, six chapels, a Baroque church, a 5,000 sq m garden, a restaurant and a 24-room hotel.
