Provençal nobility

The vintage inner courtyard displays a roman architecture

This 11th century Provençal castle of roman influence dominates the Lubéron valley. Says Janssens Immobilier: “Over time, its most ancient parts – the chapel, medieval outer walls and round towers – evolved into a vast aristocratic property.” Providing close to 1,380 sq m of living space (including the refurbished outhouses), the building features 36 bright rooms adorned with vintage materials: vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and a spiral staircase leading up to the 10 bedrooms. Roofing and floors have been entirely renewed. A warden house with 4 bedrooms, huge gardens, a stone basin, a swimming pool, and a tennis court round out the sale. The property is a 30-min drive away from Avignon.

Proposed price: : 8,5 millions d’euros
