The discrete luxury of a 15th century castle

The discrete luxury of a 15th century castle
A former property of the Beynac family, this outstanding castle stands in the heart of the Perigord region. Erected during the 15th century, it was entirely refurbished two centuries later. "Overlooking a forest, the estate is one of the most beautiful in the area, accomodating up to 40 guests," says Emile Garcin Périgord. Providing 1,200 sq m of living space, the listed castle features gothic and Renaissance elements at every level, including chimeras, decorative details and coats of arms. In all, the three-story property includes vintage wood floor, a huge dining room with a fireplace, five living rooms, a screening room, four bedrooms and as many Master bedrooms with their own bathroom. The estate also boasts hidden underground rooms, a guest house and various outbuildings, including a keeper’s house, two apartments, a swimming pool / pool house, a gym, a tennis court and stalls.
