Tenuta di Turandot is an ancient Tuscan hamlet of centuries' old buildings that form two adjacent structures that comprise the property. The estate covers 150 hectares of woodlands and olive groves, that produce a fine Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
On the top of the hills of the estate sits a luxurious square swimming pool with extensive sunbathing area; adjacent to the pool area is an outdoor kitchen and a covered portico for dining outside. Overlooking the garden there is a fitness area with sauna and changing rooms. The estate also features a tennis court, a football pitch, a volleyball court, and a bowling green. If guests can tear themselves from the luxuries situated within the estate, they can visit the walled city of Lucca, just a few kilometres from the property. One of the few cities that is still entirely enclosed by Roman, Medieval and Renaissance walls, Lucca served as a strategic and cultural center, priding itself with composers like Puccini and Boccherini. The estate is also very close to the artistic cities of Pietrasanta and Torre del Lago, which hosts the Puccini Opera Festival, the glamorous coastal area of Versilia and the city Forte dei Marmi.
The estate's primary structure is comprised of four buildings, immersed in two large, beautifully manicured gardens, with a swimming pool overlooking the countryside, the hills, and the nearby mountains. The main villa dates back to the seventeenth century and belonged to a branch of a noble family from Lucca. It is situated in a large garden enclosed by a stone wall, and is accessible from all four sides, offering several comfortable lounge areas. The main villa is spread out over three floors, the basement (which offers ample natural light), the ground floor, and the first floor. A lift for two people is available for all floors.
This exclusive, spacious, and comfortable estate can host up to 35 guests (upon request) with a total of 19 rooms. On the ground floor of the main villa, with antique terracotta tiled floors, there is a large living room with three sofas and a fireplace, two smaller sitting rooms, a dining room, and a bathroom. On the first floor, there is a comfortable communal lounge area, a double bedroom with a spacious bathroom equipped with shower, Jacuzzi and dressing room, two twin bedrooms with bathrooms overlooking the hills, and a double bedroom with a bathroom and a dressing room. In the basement, there is a spacious and well-lit 70 square-metre kitchen with two cedar wooden tables, a larder, a sitting room with television, bathroom and also a service area with a bedroom, bathroom and a laundry room. From the kitchen, guests can reach the olive grove with views of the plains of Lucca.
