But before night falls, the days at the "Villa St Paul" will be conducive to contemplation and relaxation. The swimming pool of 10 meters by 5 meters (33ft x16 ft) is filled with salt water and it extends in the large terrace. With its submerged beach, the property presents a panorama that you can't get enough of as it overlooks the mythical village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence in the foreground; the sea, Cap d'Antibes and the Estérel in the background. There, by the pool on an aged teak deckchair (Tailor-made in Indonesia), sunbathing has a special flavor for moments of relaxation – always with a view – under one of the beach umbrellas. Or you may prefer the calm of the deckchairs below, in the shade of the olive trees. You can also enjoy the comfort of an outdoor canopy bed for relaxation. Since the villa has large dimensions and different levels, it offers varied options, for all tastes. For example, there is also a Petanque area surrounded by greenery that is conducive for lively games at the end of the day. If the exterior is an invitation to pleasure, the interior is a visual cocoon. The tone is resolutely decorated with minerality and warm colors, which sublimate this house, in the spirit of decorator Annabel Kutucu. You enter through an old wood and wrought iron door, made by a creative local carpenter and will discover the universe of the decorator where lime dominates the walls. This first level serves three suites: - The 1st is a master bedroom, the centerpiece of the villa with its oversized door, its stone floor, its exposed beams and its imposing bed-headboard of almost 4 meters, made of old Canadian wood. In the bathroom, the bathtub is another place for relaxation with an oak canopy, as is the shower and its massage jets. - In the 2nd suite, natural fibers are given pride of place for the night section; the bathroom is clad in white waxed concrete and two huge floor-to-ceiling mirrors. - The 3rd bedroom has a more intimate tone with its four-poster bed and its Versailles parquet floor; the bathroom features terracotta, produced locally. Access to the lower floor takes you down a staircase punctuated with beautiful silk suspensions, created in Vietnam and adorned with a lovely fresco. Downstairs, the 4th bedroom suite is designed in a very southern spirit with its louvered doors and touches of yellow. The bathroom is also dressed in yellow with custom-made terracotta tiles made by the Versace workshop. It is the same level – that of the terrace – which hosts the open kitchen where wood, travertine, and lime rub shoulders. Meals are served on a 3-meter table specially created by the decorator, in hammered wrought iron and burnt wood Versailles style, highlighted by white linen chairs and silk hanging lamps. Two salons are available to the guests: a living room with its curly wool sofas (exclusive creation), a fireplace, and its window-view of the town of Saint-Paul; or a TV lounge with its Gervasoni white linen sofas and its 4-metre bay window also presenting a marvelous view. Of course, you can easily have your meal outside on the eastern part of the terrace and return to enjoy the evening lights in the garden...Thus the bright days pass at the "Villa St Paul" whose common point will be this view which definitely gives a unique charm to the place OUR ADVICE: If paradise exists then you have found it in one of the most beautiful places on the French Riviera, the villa can be enjoyed throughout the year since it is available to rent each week all year around.
