A dream villa in the pine trees, La Baule

A dream villa in the pine trees

The colours of the overflow pool, surrounded by pine trees, shift depending on the desired mood

Built in 1926, this splendid Spanish-Moorish villa was entirely refurbished in 2005. Hidden behind a large portal, the estate lies in the middle of a 5,400 sq m park planted with hundred-year old pine trees and other exotic species. Bathed in light, the entrance hall connects to the main living room (which has a 6-m wide clearance and a fireplace) opening on a large terracotta flagstone terrace facing south. The swimming pool area down below consists of a 15x5 m overflow pool and a pool house equipped with a summer kitchen and a shower. The main house features an impressive kitchen seating up to ten guests (adorned with a bar and a stainless steel piano), a beautiful dining room and six en-suite bedrooms equipped with their own bathrooms and dressings. Other amenities include a 30-sq m A/C wine cellar and state-of-the-art technology such as a heated wood floor and double glazing windows with espagnolettes. "This truly is a one-of-a-kind property, says Jean-François Clément at the Axel Colin agency. It's probably one of the most beautiful estates in all of La Baule, close to shops and beaches, a genuine architectural treasure." Proposed price: 6,500,000 euros
