Casa Altringen is based on an old house, in authentic Banat style. A group of friends gathered around the idea of renovating and expanding the initial construction. Casa Altringen hosts up to 20 guests, in rooms for one or two people. The rooms are furnished according to the arrangement of a traditional Swabian house: linen woven from linen and hemp, dunes and fluffy pillows. Everywhere reigns the wooden furniture decorated and painted in a rustic style full of fantasy and, at the same time, unitary for each room. The credenza (cabinet for dishes) and the club (banquet) could not be missing from the dining table. And from the living room (intended for recreation), the fireplace.

There is much to say about this property located ad litteram at the foot of the Cindrel Mountains, whose forest begins 30m away but, of all the features, the autonomy given by the carefully chosen technologies puts it in a special category - that of sustainable houses, friendly to the nature in the middle of which they are located (also, we do not ignore the fact that independence from public grid comes with financial benefits). With a golden past, Abrud has culture and history in its DNA. The town developed in the area of the Daco-Roman settlement called Abruttus, where Emperor Trajan sent a Roman legion to exploit the mines in 106 AD.
