L'Espingole is within walking distance of bars, restaurants, specialty shops and a small supermarket with fresh bread and pastries in the morning. It is set in 1000 m2 of private grounds and is built in the typical Périgord style. It has been tastefully restored and offers peace and privacy with its enclosed garden. The house is beautifully decorated and has the charm and character of an old stone house, with all the modern conveniences and luxury amenities while preserving its distinctive architectural features. The first stone of this house was laid in 1282 when Domme was built under the reign of Philippe III the Bold as a fortress town and strategic defense during the Hundred Years War.
