As the chateau has never been abandoned and the current owners are only the fifth since its construction, the best of each period has been preserved. From the elegant window handles in the shape of winged angels to the carved limestone balustrade staircase, from the imposing fireplaces to the high French windows, and from the beamed ceilings to the classical proportions - it is a property that enjoys perfect lighting and a serene peace. The charming medieval towns of Perigueux and Sarlat are less than half an hour away. Brive is less than one hour away and Bordeaux International Airport is within 1 hour and 30 minutes by car.
