Through the stage door

In the shade of this paved courtyard, it's easy to forget the hustle and bustle of the surrounding big city

Located in the heart of the Parisian district of Montmartre, this typical farm house offers 165 sq m of living space. The property of the famous French movie director Claude Lelouch, who lived there for more than thirty years, the estate features an outstanding 150 sq m garden planted with trees. The house boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a huge living room and a kitchen. A staircase leads to a 25 sq m basement that can be converted into a gym or a screening room next to the hammam. The house is topped with a 240 sq m duplex that can be sold separately. The latter features a living room with a fireplace, a sun lounge, a mezzanine, three bedrooms with a view and three bathrooms. “It’s a loft-like property with a 6-m wide clearance with exposed beams”, says Xavier Attal, founder of Immo Best International. One of the bedrooms, complete with its kitchen corner, features an independent entrance. The sale comes with a cellar, two parking spaces and is protected by a security guard. Future owners will get a private access to the Moulin de la Galette terrace offering unbelievable views over Paris.
