Trulli Gemma is a holiday home located in Puglia, within the Itria Valley area (a UNESCO World Heritage site). The residential part consists of a group of trulli and a lamia: the main building, a typical construction of the area made up of 7 cones and additional rooms, and the dependance, a separate but adjacent building. Solar panels provide sufficient electricity and heat for the entire structure, and the water supply is sourced from the organic farm within the estate. What's more, all the materials used in the construction were locally sourced (indeed, all stones were recycled from the land during the excavation of the building). Finally, all food and beverages are either grown on the property or sourced locally through local artisans, farmers, and producers.
