A fully restored villa with annexe and swimming pool, set in almost 4 ha of undisturbed grounds surrounded by unspoilt nature. Leaving the village of Entrecasteaux, a small country road winds through vineyards and olive groves, bordered by low stone walls. It leads to a track, first tarmac for around 1 km and then earth, which meanders through a pine forest and gently slopes down for around 500 m through lush greenery bordered by 'restanques' (terraced grounds). At the end of the drive, you enter the property from the west, facing the outbuilding, where a parking area can easily accommodate five or six vehicles.
Located in a protected landscape area and dating from the 1980s, the south-facing, two-storey building has been completely remodelled by its current inhabitants. It is difficult to determine the age of the building, as it seems to have always formed part of the Provence landscape: lime-rendered walls, traditional roof tiles, triple cornice of shortened tiles, Mediterranean-style shutters and a covered terrace supported by old, sturdy beams, to name only some of the features.
The irregular facade and roof with projecting and recessed sections ensure that there is no monotony, alternating between the sheltering arcade, the projecting glass wall and the covered terrace, creating numerous places to sit, in the sun or in the shade, depending on one's preference, the time of day and the season. A balcony, accessed from the master bedroom, offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.
To the east, there is an adjoining two-storey annexe with its own entrances. Built in the same architectural style and set back from its facade, it is completely independent from the main house. It has four openings, one of which is an arched French window. An outside staircase at the east end provides access to the upper levels of the main and annexe buildings.
To the west, a 32 m² stone outbuilding also offers additional conversion potential. The swimming pool is set apart to the north of the property and enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view over the property's rooftops.
