The Château de la Contesse is a 15th-century fortress overlooking the valley.
25' from Barcelona airport and 15' from the beach
Set between the sea and the mountains on a plot of almost 2 hectares, the property has several entrances.
Adjacent to the church, which today belongs to the bishop's palace, the countess had her own entrance to the church, the door to which can still be seen today in her bedroom, which is coloured up to the ceiling.
The secret passages can be guessed or discovered as you open the castle's doors or trompe l'oeil.
While the walls, structure and roof are in good condition, the swimming pool is in need of partial renovation, as are all the electrical and plumbing installations.
Today, the site is used for a variety of cultural events, much to the delight of the town's residents.
