South of the Normandy-Maine Regional Park, a 15th century feudal manor house, its outbuildings and its pond. Access to the property is via a driveway framed by an orchard and a vegetable plot. Old outbuildings face each other on either side. The residence stands at the back of the courtyard. Meadows planted with hedges enclose the buildings. They protect them from the wind and provide shelter from prying eyes. The complex offers views over the surrounding countryside, from the pastures to the cultivated fields. Two ponds receive water from a stream that flows into the Sarthe, a few meadows away. The origins of the site date back to the eleventh century. In the 14th century, this was one of the largest feudal manors in the area. During the French Revolution, it lost its influence. Built around 1450 by the Saint-Berthevin family, the cellar and the central part of the present building, with its monumental fireplace, bear witness to this feudal past. However, the defensive towers once abutting this feudal building have not survived. In the 18th century, the parish registers mentioned the old pond and the fishing rights for the farm.

A restored 19th-century farmhouse with annexes and a garden in 3,400m² of grounds, nestled in France’s River Loir valley. A country lane leads up to the gate of this former farm complex, which has been renovated. An electric wooden gate leads into the property between the dwelling and an outhouse. On its east side, the courtyard is flanked by a vegetable patch. On its west side, it is flanked by an ornamental garden that is partly enclosed by old walls and wooden fencing. Apart from an old bakehouse opposite the dwelling, the facades of these buildings face south. Their elevations, made of stone and tuffeau rubble, have been rendered. The quoins and door and window surrounds are made of dressed tuffeau stone. Only the door and window surrounds of one of the outhouses are made of brick. Gabled roofs crown the structures. Some have slate tiles and others have flat red tiles.

A former seignorial farm dating back to the 15th century, with outbuildings and grounds covering over 1 4 hectares in Anjou. At the beginning of the road linking the two villages, a long access track runs between fields and leads to the property entrance. Set in the hollow of a small valley, the buildings are arranged in a U-shape, with a parking area and a barn used as a garage at the front of one of the two wings. The main house, guest house and associated outbuildings mainly date back to the 18th century. They are built of rubble stone and slate or tiles on older foundations dating back to the 15th century, when the estate was part of a seignorial farm. Farmhouse Angers (49)
A farmhouse with stables and outbuildings in 1 8 hectares of grounds, 40 minutes west of Angers. Surrounded by the meadows and hedgerows typical of the Anjou region, the property is made up of six separate buildings. The buildings are built from the typical slate rubble used in the region and rendered in ochre-coloured lime. The window frames are made out of local brick. Most of the roofs are slate, but some outbuildings are covered in sheet metal. The farmhouse is 25 m long and rectangular shaped with east/west facing facades. Its gable roof has two chimneys and four hip dormers on the front facade, one of which has a straight stone staircase leading up to it at the south-east corner of the building. A former pigsty is attached to the south gable, next to a small workshop. Long and rectangular too, it has small semi-circular openings in the upper part of the facades for ventilation and has a gable roof. At at right angle, to the north of the house, a former barn is currently under restoration. On the other side of the square courtyard there is a huge stable, flanked by a barn to the west. Meadows and paddocks for horses surround the building.
