luxury houses with terrace for rent Westchester County, United States

46 Gallows Hill is the ideal home for serene, country living - a jewel set in a most extraordinary, natural setting. Wood, stone and glass everywhere - unimpeded views and access to the surrounding gardens. Woods stand deep and tall, a verdant backdrop. Beyond, the hillside cascades to the gorge below where the waters of the Hollow Brook rush through to their Hudson River destination. The home radiates warmth and welcome with classic country character. Hardwood floors glow. The wood burning fireplace insert can warm the whole house. Bedrooms are cosseting, with doors that lead out to the grounds. The bathroom is modern and gleaming. The sunroom, currently used as a dining room, has doors that open to the large, private patio. It would make a fine, light-filled office, den, play space or even guest quarters. The outdoor living space is as wonderful as the interior. A fireplace is built into the hillside stone retaining walls, perfect for summer roasts or barbecues and the expansive terraces call out for gatherings or solitary musing over early morning coffee or hot chocolate, interrupted only by birdsong and the gentle rustle of the stream. What artist, writer or seeker of respite from the strident demands of the modern world wouldn't want to move in and never leave, inspired by the harmonies of nature? (Please note the following: The home is available furnished or unfurnished. While pets will be considered, the fee, and the landlord's decision is subject to the nature and training of the specific animal.
