House Chatillon (92)
A belle époque burrstone house with a garden and annexe in Châtillon town centre, just south of Paris. The house is just a few minutes’ walk from Châtillon’s old heart and shops. It has a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor. The dwelling is set back from the road, on a plot of around 600m². It was built in 1908. The building is part of a preserved series of three houses designed by the architect Léon Mériot, who worked a lot in this area: France’s Haut-de-Seine department. Mériot was a public architect and surveyor for the town of Châtillon. He later worked privately until 1911. He also designed many holiday homes on the coast of Normandy, in Mesnil-Val and Criel-sur-Mer. The house is made of burrstone. It is typical of the Paris region’s built heritage from the period between 1880 and 1930. The dwelling reflects the spirit of rural holiday homes owned by wealthy Parisians. Its facade, which wisteria climbs up, features two wooden balconies, red brickwork, ceramic embellishments and green enamel ornamentation. The roof is covered with interlocking tiles and crowned with terracotta finials. Together with the zinc works, it was fully renovated in 2019. The house has two upper floors that an oak staircase leads to. The ceiling heights are comfortable at each level. The dwelling offers a liveable floor area of around 155m². It has a double reception room, a spacious kitchen with a garden-facing dining area, an office, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lavatory on each floor. A basement extends beneath the whole house. It includes a vaulted wine cellar. A large terrace beside a summer kitchen lies at the foot of the dwelling’s rear elevation and leads to a tree-dotted garden with a lean-to. Lastly, on one side of the garden, there is an annexe with a floor area of around 70m² at the same level as the garden. The entire property needs to be renovated.

House with terrace Le Plessis-Robinson (92)
In a green setting, located on the heights of the city in the immediate vicinity of Henri Sellier Park and overlooking the Vallée-aux-Loups Park, this mansion called La Tour de Robinson is made up of the famous neo-style tower -Gothic built by Jacques Bignon at the end of the 19th century and a large extension built in 1991. Indeed known for its 27 m high tower formerly called the Château de la Tour Bignon or Tour Saint Jacques (because of one of the statues which adorn its facade), the residence of 516 m2 (281 m2 of living space) is erected on a plot of 1279 m2. The two buildings have in common a majestic raised entrance offering a ceiling height of more than 3 m, decorated with a large Louis XIII style fireplace, large windows in magnificent 19th century stained glass, a beautiful mosaic on the floor and exposed beams on the ceiling. The extension part presents a large living room of 80 m2 benefiting from triple exposure and a ceiling height of 6 meters. Its fully visible wooden frame warms this room where a second Louis XIII style fireplace houses a wood stove. The floor is covered with Burgundy stone. The visit continues with a master bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. All of these rooms are heated by low temperature underfloor heating and have direct access through French doors equipped with electric blinds to the 200 m2 terrace facing South-East. A few steps below the living room, a kitchen needs to be renovated. A basement of more than 200 m2 completes this part, offering several parking spaces, a workshop, a laundry room, a large cellar and a period cinema room to renovate. The millstone tower is accessible from the main entrance or through the large living room. It includes four bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a toilet and a bathroom, with the possibility of installing an elevator. At its top is a roof terrace with breathtaking views of up to 30 km over Paris and the Île de France. The charm and unique architecture of this residence as well as its rehabilitation potential, in the heart of a very popular area, make it a particularly rare exceptional property. An ideal place giving free rein to the imagination for artists, heritage lovers, events, filming, or even for guest rooms...
