In Lorraine, less than an hour from Luxembourg City, a medieval chateau on 33 hectares of woodlands. Hidden from view, the entrance to the property is accessible via a small track, located below a quiet road. A late 19th century temple, a luminous edifice in the centre of Verdun. The Treaty of Verdun, signed in 843 as a result of quarrels between Charlemagne’s heirs, established the first division of Medieval Europe.
