This former mansion is located in the heart of the historic town of Mayenne, on an emblematic square. With a population of 12,000 and boasting an 11th-century château, the town has been awarded the 'Pays d'art et d'histoire' label and offers a full range of shops and services (hospital, doctors, chemists, supermarkets, secondary schools, etc.). Laval (TGV and motorway) is around thirty kilometres away. Grey stone is used for the plinths, architraves, cornices and quoins. On the roof, two charming zinc bull's-eyes face the entrance porch. Like eyes, they gaze out at guests as they arrive. They head for the entrance door, framed by two Ionic pilasters. Pushing open the door, they discover a building of around 400 sqm comprising :
-Ground floor: the tiled entrance hall with stairway (18 sqm) leads to the right to a wood-panelled, partitioned lounge (48 sqm) and a room at right-angles, to the left to a large lounge (56 sqm) with parquet flooring and marble fireplace, and at right-angles to the kitchen, scullery and toilet.
-1st floor: 3 bedrooms with alcoves, one with a dressing room and bathroom, the other two with toilets.
-2nd floor: 3 bedrooms with washbasins, one bedroom with bathroom and a separate shower room.
