House with pool and terraceMarseille 8ème (13)

Remarkable architecture from the 1960s, this 180 m2 Californian villa is at the heart of a modernist project labeled 20th Century Heritage, on its 1,400 m2 plot in a wooded park at the gates of the Calanques.

To be revisited, the single-storey house has retained all the original architectural elements such as its facade in Fontvieille stone and hollow bricks, its sliding wooden shutters, its opus incertum terrace. Inside, the fireplace looks like that of Valentine Schlegel and the large chip terrazzo floor is just waiting to be restored to its splendor. Each extension of the house is treated as a terrace, to best experience the outdoors and take advantage of the surrounding nature. The living rooms are arranged in a row along the main terrace extended by a large swimming pool, all under the shade of umbrella pines. The sleeping rooms are distributed by a corridor punctuated by storage spaces typical of the 60s, behind glass blocks. For this vast renovation project, ARCHIK provides its teams of architects and helps you model this unique property in order to adapt it to your needs.

When modernist architecture immerses itself in nature, near the sea and the hills, a stone's throw from Pointe Rouge
