Property with garden Cumiana (Italy)

Elegant castle located in the village of the Costa di Cumiana, a foothill town just thirty minutes from the city of Turin. The property is made up of four sleeves that develop around a central courtyard with porticoes on two sides. The main façade, facing south, is characterized by a monumental staircase with three flights that leads to a large terrace with a marble balustrade. The north facade, however, is adorned with a smaller terrace that leads towards the park. The main entrance leads to the reception hall (13 meters high) frescoed in the 18th century by the Pozzo brothers, where there is a private chapel in Baroque style. A courtly staircase leads to the upper floors of the main structure, divided into apartments which are in perfect maintenance conditions. The oldest wing of the castle has recently been renovated in its façade and roof. On the ground floor there is the caretaker's apartment and a Renaissance room with coffered ceilings, fireplace and period frescoes. On the upper floor there are two large apartments to be finished but already full of charm. At the end of the 17th century the castle was inhabited by Anna Carlotta Teresa Canalis of Cumiana, Marchioness of Spigno, morganatic wife of Vittorio Amedeo II of Savoy. The famous writer Vittorio Alfieri stayed in the palace in 1764, on the occasion of the wedding of his sister, Countess Giulia, to Count Giacinto Canalis, and returned there on other important occasions in his life. Another illustrious guest of the palace was San Giovanni Bosco, remembered in the private chapel adjacent to the central hall. The property is currently an accommodation facility.

Property with pool and garden Montiglio Monferrato (Italy)

Nestled in the center of a picturesque village, the Castello di Rinco is located in the Monferrato hills, in the Municipality of Montiglio Monferrato, just 20 km from Asti. This property enchants with its elegance and sophistication. The subject of sale is the magnificent central stately body, consisting of three apartments connected to each other by a representative eighteenth-century staircase and an elevator. This property, of about 650 square meters of completely renovated living space, presents itself as an authentic Italian pearl. The sublime Italian garden, enriched by a labyrinth, adds further charm to this property. The main feature of this residence are the frescoed halls and the magnificent rooms, perfectly restored, which allow you to admire the grandeur of the architectural and artistic works of the past. It is important to underline that these works are bound to the Superintendence of Fine Arts. The renovation of 2011 has returned to the Castle and the garden of the '600 their ancient splendor. The thirteenth-century fortress and the tower of the year one thousand have also been transformed into sophisticated accommodations, keeping the intrinsic prestige of the structure intact and providing it with the most modern comforts. The property also offers a private garden and vegetable garden, parking spaces, cellars and access to common areas such as the swimming pool. There are also spaces dedicated to technical and service purposes. The seventeenth-century castle-palace was built in 1640 by the Monferrato army captain Giovanni Domenico Mazzola, who became the first count of Rinco. Over time, the property has undergone multiple renovations and extensions, of which it retains the different artistic and architectural styles, from medieval to baroque. The property is located one hour away from the main cities of Turin, Milan and Genoa, and only thirty minutes from Alba and the Langhe.

Strambino Castle, overlooking the hills of the morainic amphitheater of Ivrea, a city from which it is about 7 km away, is a magnificent seventeenth-century castle located in an elevated position and equipped with an internal patio, a park of about two hectares and various outbuildings. The castle, which has a fifteenth-century rear part, lateral bodies built in the seventeenth century and a main frescoed facade from the second half of the eighteenth century, still preserves eighteenth-century frescoes and decorations attributed to Carlo Cogrossi. The property, spread over four levels and equipped with beautiful panoramic terraces, is perfectly livable and functional as a residence for all months of the year, and has numerous characteristics of historical and architectural value which enhance the interiors without attenuating the charm of a family home. The swimming pool, inserted in the front garden, with its comfortable pool house, completes the enjoyment of the property, which also includes the romantic park with driveway, the large lawn, the comfortable house for caretakers or guests, the garage, the courts and a land, formerly a vineyard, of about two hectares. The Castle dominates Strambino, a town equipped with every service and connected to the road and motorway junctions leading to Turin, Milan, Malpensa airport and the lakes, without forgetting the ski resorts of Val d'Aosta. In the surroundings there are numerous tourist resorts and splendid castles, such as that of Masino, a place where important cultural activities take place.

Property with garden Costigliole d'Asti (Italy)

The Castle stands on a hill south of Costigliole d'Asti and it dominates the valleys Tinella to the west and Nizza to the east. This structure, originally built in the early Middle Ages, has undergone several additions over the centuries, which however have not compromised the architectural harmony of the Castle. Its timeless charm is given by the combination of several buildings connected to each other, which open onto a wonderful private garden, from which you can admire a breathtaking panorama. The main structure is characterized by a tall tower, while on the east side there is a drawbridge which replaces the previous access staircase to the panoramic internal courtyard. The interiors of the house, completely renovated in the Baroque period, boast a prestigious conservative restoration work, carried out by the current owners of the Castle. The vast size of the property is characterized by more than twenty rooms, three kitchens and courtly halls, all very bright, thanks to the large windows with breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys. The various eras that have followed are evident in the volumes of the vaults, in the ancient floors, in the expertly preserved frescoes and in the large spectacular fireplaces that adorn the reception rooms. In addition to the habitable spaces already available, numerous rooms and premises require total renovation, but offer the opportunity to expand the current structure for residential or hospitality purposes. The property includes two panoramic terraces, a land of 7,000 m2 and a small church in front of the Castle.
