Our opinion
This is a top-quality chalet with proper wow factor. There is notable volume throughout with the double-height living space opening onto the balcony/terrace and large bedrooms, each opening onto the terrace. The chalet sits on a sizeable plot extending below the chalet, meaning the views are protected. The owners have enjoyed the chalet exclusively as a second home, so it has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. It has been designed thoughtfully with added extras including a sauna, games room and a lot of built-in storage. An impressive chalet of the highest quality.
Location
Chalet Avenieres is in Montriond just next to Morzine (3km, 5-minute drive) and the Ardent lift (6-minute drive) for ski access to Avoriaz. The popular village of Montriond is within an easy walk and has 3 bar/restaurants, a supermarket with bakery and a ski shop. For the summer months, Lac Montriond is a 15 minute walk away with a further 4 restaurants. There is also a ski bus stop close by for easy access to Ardent.
