Occupying a 500 year old building, the house has 4 guest rooms with private bathrooms and a flat (2 bedrooms) which has rustic features such as tiled floors and wooden beams. Located in the old town of Arcos, the house is in the heart of the village. You can also visit the Arcos Gardens Golf Club. Jerez airport is 30 minutes away by car. The property is located on a piece of land inhabited for thousands of years by many different peoples and cultures. You will notice a church behind the terrace of the house. Before it became a church, it was an Arabic fortress and before that a Roman temple. Arcos de la Frontera enjoys a spectacular location at the top of a cliff. This privileged position made it virtually impenetrable to the enemy, making it an excellent base for the settlers who occupied it for millennia. As for the origins of the house, they go so far back in time that we cannot date its construction with certainty. What we can say is that two ancient Arab cisterns under the floor of the house take us back to before the 14th century and perhaps to the 8th.
