An 18th century abbey house and its outbuildings in almost 6 ha in the French department of Morbihan.
To the north of the Gulf of Morbihan, some 20 km from Vannes, on undulating land, surrounded by grasslands, fields and forests. This property is just a few minutes from a small market town, the community of which has less than 5,000 inhabitants.
A turning off a minor road, a wooded lane bordered by a wall runs along the right-hand side of this residence and then goes down to the outbuildings on a lower level. The abbey houseThis residence, standing in a dominant position facing the gardens and grasslands on the south side, dates from the beginning of the 18th century. Built from granite quarry blocks with a recently redone slate roof featuring three roof dormers with curved or triangular pediments, it spans a total of approx. 390 m² of living space over three levels built on top of cellars.
A main entrance on the south side and a back door on the north side provide access to four living areas: a lounge, a dining room with an open-plan kitchen, a small lounge and a bedroom. The lounges and the dining room have fireplaces. The corridors have stone floor tiles whilst the rooms have strip pattern parquet flooring. Ceiling beams are exposed. Behind the building is a storeroom-workshop spanning approx. 60 m².
This floor has a landing providing access to two self-contained flats. One flat comprises an entrance hall, a kitchen, two bedrooms, a shower room and a toilet, whilst the other includes a kitchen-dining room area, a bedroom, a bathroom and a toilet.
This floor comprises a corridor leading to two bedrooms, two storage rooms as well as an attic spanning 60 m² which could be converted.
