The property has a cosy period feel, with pretty exposed stone walls, stone floors, which are in perfect keeping with the age and style of the property. On the ground floor there is a galley- style kitchen which is spacious and well organised. The kitchen opens onto a covered terrasse area at the far end, with plenty of place for a long table, perfect for outdoor dining and an additional living-space in the summer months. Next to the kitchen, we find a formal dining-room for evening meals or indoor winter dining, a cosy study/ television room and a larger reception room at the far end. Each of these rooms is brimming with character : stone walls, floors, beams and period features. The ground floor benefits from a shower room/ laundry room as well as a separate downstairs guest cloakroom/WC and sink. A vintage wooden staircase leads to the first floor. The first floor At the top of the staircase there is a generous landing area with a window which leads to two generously sizes double bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms has a private ensuite shower-room, WC and sink. The first bedroom has a large closet. Both rooms overlook the pool. The second floor The second and top floor of the property is delightful! With gorgeous views from the main bedroom, there is a bathroom on the other side, with a bathtub, shower and WC. The top floor has the feel of a private appartment.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see bikini-clad beauties sipping Martinis by the pool. Or perhaps an older couple lounging on deck chairs, sunglasses on, gazing at the scenery. That’s when we realize: here, the sea is green. Stretching endlessly, it undulates gently all the way to the distant Pyrenees. We’re on the deck of a luxury yacht, lazily slicing through time under the blue sky. The calm is overwhelming. Just the gurgle of a fountain, a bird’s song, a deer passing through the tall grass. A few strokes in the pool to cool off. Suddenly, a big party. Chic people, friends laughing out loud, a drink in hand. Children jumping and shouting in the pool, splashing everyone. The men are busy at the barbecue. We dance to loud music. The neighbors don’t mind; they’re far away. The sun is beating down. We’ll need to open the awnings. How about a walk in the woods? It’s cool there. And with a bit of luck, we’ll see some pheasants. Or hares. By the way, did you see the pond with the goldfish and water lilies? Come, I’ve put my new car in the garage. Have you tried the fruits from the garden? Evening falls. Unfortunately, it starts to rain. Let's take shelter. Patio or living room? Both are spacious. Unless you'd prefer a game of billiards in the game room? Are you staying overnight? The studio is ready. Stay a few days with the kids, the guesthouse is free. It's late. We go to bed, eyes lost on the pool that has regained its calm. We’ll clean the kitchen later, it’s hidden enough not to see the mess. Tomorrow, we'll go shopping in Auch, it's only ten minutes away. But only after a good soak in the whirlpool tub. Then I'll isolate myself a bit in my office. I have work to finish before tinkering in the shed.
