Ref 4256 : Family winery for sale Wine-growing property located in a small village of around 145 inhabitants, nestling 15 km south of Bergerac and its international airport. Less than 20 km away is Bergerac airport, with flights to Brussels, London City, Stansted, Porto, Rotterdam and many other destinations. The main town in the canton, Issigeac, is around 7 to 8 km away. Issigeac is a dynamic town offering a wide range of tourist, sporting and cultural activities. Issigeac also hosts a remarkable and highly regarded market every Sunday morning. The château was long owned by the Labonne-Albert family, whose roots on this estate date back to 1745. In his 1903 book, Edouard Féret mentions a Labonne who produced 15 barrels of red Bergerac at this estate. The vineyard, spread over several plots around the farm buildings, represents about 32 acres in production. The vineyard is of high quality, as can be seen from the fact that planting since 2000 has been carried out at a height of 2.50 metres or 4,000 vines per hectare, in compliance with the Bergerac appellation specifications.
