Situated in a remote location but close to a hamlet, it is accessed via a small country road that winds through the vineyards.
As early as the 1740s, this estate is cited as being a residence belonging to the Bordeaux aristocracy. It was passed down in a family for generations until the French Revolution. In 19th century, numerous alterations were undertaken, in particular the building of the three pavilions. The property was modernised: new farm buildings, a workman’s house, dovecote and water reservoir were added. In 20th century, part of the vineyards were sold to the neighbouring chateaux.
