Initially under his own name, the firm later became GDA Architects. In 2005, Bauke Tuinstra and Doeke van Wieren succeeded him, and the firm was renamed TWA Architects – the acronym 'TWA' also means 'two' in Frisian. Since 2004, they have been working from the former flour mill 'De Eendracht' in Burdaard on their projects.
