The lack of snow combined with the terrorist attacks last November kept foreign investors away from the Megève area at the very start of the winter season. However, the market is booming again since early April. The most soughtafter products are luxury cabins with prices up to €3m. We recently sold properties with prices ranging from €10m and €20m to several investors including two French nationals. For instance, a newly-built 700 sq m cabin in Megève sold for €9,5m. Our roster of clients include French and English nationals. Through our partnership with Knight Frank, we now deal with buyers from Dubai wishing to spend their summertime in the mountain and ski one or two weeks per year. Geneva airport is very close. Sellers should offer their properties in perfect condition with all the required documents.
