Hidden within an olive grove on the coastline of Lesvos, Pelagos sits above a sheltered bay where the sea remains calm through most of the year. The house is positioned only a short distance from the shoreline, connected to the water by a private pathway and dock, while the surrounding landscape remains largely untouched, with olive trees, low hills and quiet coves extending along the coast. Despite the sense of seclusion, Mytilene Airport can be reached within approximately 25 minutes by car.
The architecture is contemporary and restrained, designed to sit quietly within the landscape rather than dominate it. Arranged across two principal levels with additional lower-ground accommodation, the residence extends to approximately 530 sqm (5,705 sqft), with floor-to-ceiling glazing opening the interiors directly towards the bay.
