House with garden and terrace Neede (Netherlands)
omanticism in the midst of nature - Striking villa in a beautiful locationBirdwatchers and nature lovers, this is it! On top of the Needse Berg stands this striking villa; the double hoods and light facades are unmissable when passing Lochuizen. This spacious villa, with a living area of about 209 m², offers no less than three bedrooms, a spacious bathroom and has a large basement. In terms of sustainability, this lovely house is also very well insulated; the insulation is top-notch, the heating is efficient thanks to the heat recovery system and underfloor heating, and the monthly energy bill is therefore mild. We dare to say with our hand on our heart that this place is unique in its kind; 36m above N.A.P. the house towers above its surroundings. And that is a wonderful place to stand, because the house - sitting fraternally next to the Hollansche Molen - gives you an incomparable 360º view that changes character from hour to hour like a living painting. These panoramic views are experienced here simply from the kitchen, with a hot cappuccino in hand and binoculars on your nose. Poppies and cornflowers Here you experience the land, the weather and the seasons, but above all you experience nature. The current residents have put their heart and soul into making this a true Garden of Eden, with an eye for biodiversity and aesthetics. The colorful borders are a poem of color and form throughout the garden. At the back of the garden, half an acre has been sown with wildflowers, and this is something spectacular; around May and June it is a sensory feast of fragrance and color here, due to the many thousands of cornflowers, chamomile buds and poppies. This is not only beautiful to see, it actually produces something; by now a whole colony of partridges lives here very peacefully and scurries around throughout the garden. But also all kinds of garden birds - the goldfinches like to hang out with a group of them - and meadow birds have found a safe haven here. The evening twilight, which is almost cinematic because of the vastness of the land, turns the forest edge into green velvet, invites the roe deer to have a nice graze on the ash trees and is regularly visited by the white wolves, which stretch from the forest over the land.Between Neede and DiepenheimThe house is in Lochuizen, between Neede and Diepenheim, on the Needse berg. Stories abound in this area, from the Giant of Bambergen who lost his bag of sand here and made Needse berg, to the forest elephant, the “cools” created by clay mining and the role of this mountain during WWII... She has seen everything and remained unyielding. The center of Neede, with cozy shopping streets, the baker, butcher and greengrocer, and of course the hospitality industry, is a stone's throw away. Due to the colorful textile past of this town, there are particularly beautiful and striking villas scattered throughout Neede, making the famous Rondje Neede, which goes along village and nature, a wonderful pastime.Eight car minutes from the center of Diepenheim - affectionately called 't Stedeke - an artists' village in Twente, surrounded by magnificent castles and estates. Diepenheim is beautiful; its nature is impressive and its cultural offerings high. Art routes, open studios and various cultural gatherings are organized annually. In the center there is a theater (Herberg De Pol), a museum, a well-stocked neighborhood supermarket and the butcher who is really out of his league!Ten minutes away you will find places like Lochem, Borculo, Groenlo, Diepenheim, Eibergen and Haaksbergen. The big city, in the form of Enschede and Hengelo, for example, are an ideal 20 minutes away (the N18 is nearby). The Achterhoek is the land of milk and honey; locally there are many stores where vegetables, meat and dairy products are available directly from the source. In short, life is good here. EnterThe villa is entirely single-story, barrier-free and with extra-wide doorways. In the genial east, we naturally like to enter from the back, but for form entrance at the front of the house, in the spacious and sunny hall. On the floor is a beautiful, light ceramic tile that works excellently with underfloor heating. The baseboards are integrated with the walls throughout the house, so dusty edges have no chance here. The architect's mission was to create an open, light and sunny home, and he succeeded excellently. To the right is the living room, with a large semi-circular glass bay window at the front and a large gas fireplace, which provides warmth and ambiance at the push of a button. The kitchen is open, but because of its location in the program, overlooking the garden and the historic ash landscape, it has an atmosphere all its own. The fronts are walnut and the granite countertop is primal. Everything is there, from all desirable built-in appliances like dishwasher, fridge-freezer and combination microwave to a Miele coffee maker that will have you whipping up coffee, cappuccino, latte and tea in no time. At the rear of the house is a covered terrace made by the French doors; a lovely place to end the day. Here there is also a large fixed parasol, to make the most of the garden even on hot days. Left is the front bedroom, now used as a study and gym. Then the utility room, with connections for washer and dryer, pantry, door to the driveway and access to the basement. The basement with a drive-in garage and a large workspace measures an area of 75 m² and of course lends itself perfectly to parking the car, bike and lawn mower, but because the space is insulated, it can also be easily set up here the cinema, the long-desired man-cave realized - complete with pool table and bar, or the wellness built, with sauna, plunge pool and shower. After the utility room the second bedroom, with a magnificent view of the mill and the village. The master bedroom is at the head at the rear and has a beautiful view of the garden and the ash tree. Next to the room a large bathroom, complete with WC, double sinks, a shower with seat and a wonderful whirlpool. For your wardrobe there is a spacious walk-in closet. Outside... for there lies an impressive 1.2ha waiting for you. At the front, the plot is accessed by an electric gate, allowing you to drive straight into the garage. Surface parking is also possible, because the driveway has room for at least eight cars. There is also a charging station, so you always drive away with a full battery. The garden is divided with an ornamental garden at the front and side, at the back of the house there is a vegetable garden. The back of the plot is covered with carpet of field flowers, with daisies, chamomile, stork's beak, sunflowers, cornflowers and poppies in all colors. Behind the garden runs the bike path where people regularly take the time to literally stop and take in the beautiful view. Another plus: because of the altitude, you won't get your feet wet here easily.OpportunitiesAre you looking for space for business activity at home, for example? Or do you have the desire to have a large garage at home? There is already a permit granted by the municipality for the realization of an outbuilding of 150 m². In shortThis villa is a Valhalla for bird watchers and nature lovers; it is places like this that really make a difference for the local flora and fauna. House with pool and garden Geesteren (Netherlands)
Exclusive country house on a large plot, with guest house, swimming pool, and paddocks for horsesOn the edge of the picturesque village of Geesteren stands this magnificent country house with guest house and office space—a place where tradition and high-end living meet. This extremely luxurious ensemble covers a generous plot of over 1.9 hectares, consisting of impressive ornamental gardens, a beautiful ‘paddock paradise’ and the ancient orchard. The main house dates from 1935, but in recent years – while retaining its rural character – it has been completely transformed and made sustainable into the exceptionally beautiful farmhouse it is today. No expense was spared, with a consistent choice of extremely high-quality materials, and the beautiful paintwork on all the woodwork is striking. The roofs and windows are well insulated. The garden has a ground installation for 90 (!) solar panels, and there are two large solar collectors on the roof of the farmhouse. This magnificent house therefore has an excellent energy label A+. B&B or home office? In 2018, the former warehouse was replaced by a beautiful, architecturally designed (Haverkort Architects) barn with an attractive thatched mansard roof. A statement house and a landmark in the village, as it is virtually the only part that is really visible from the public road. So, have you always wanted to run a B&B, or do you work from home and need a fantastically equipped office? Then the Dennendijk ticks quite a few boxes. In short, everything about this estate—because that's what we can call it—is just right: the proportions, the elegant design, the meeting of classic traditional and modern... It is an oasis of luxury and blissful tranquility in the most beautiful region of the country: the Achterhoek. GeesterenGeesteren is a charming village in the Achterhoek, bordering the Twente region. The church tower with its golden hen and rooster, dating from the 16th century, dominates the horizon and is surrounded by a patchwork of meadows, rolling hills, and fields. Time seems to have no hold on the character of this village; it is old-fashioned in its beauty, and a few years ago its charm was rewarded with the title ‘Most Beautiful Village in Gelderland’. Ground floor - Main houseTwo decorative wrought iron gates provide a fitting welcome. You can park on the spacious driveway on the right, with a view of the incomparably beautiful gardens. The entrance is located under the porch, on the side of the house. The central hall is magnificent, with natural stone tiles, cream-colored, smoothly plastered walls, and fresh white woodwork. On the left is the toilet with a washbasin and the stairs to the upper floor. On the right is the kitchen, the beating heart of this house. The design is truly beautiful: traditional craftsmanship by Lodder Keukens from Barneveld, equipped with all modern conveniences. Every door, drawer, and function has been carefully considered. The kitchen has an L-shaped layout and is very spacious, so there is plenty of work space and room for all your guests at the large dining table. The fronts are copper-colored, which creates a beautiful interplay with the marble countertops and the sleek appliance wall. The kitchen is equipped with built-in appliances such as a dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. Furthermore, there is an induction hob (90 cm), a coffee machine (Gaggenau), a 4-in-1 boiling water tap (Quooker), and a generous wine climate cabinet (Liebherr).Adjacent to this, accessible both through the glazed French doors from the kitchen and from the central hall, is the spacious sitting and garden room; what an ambiance! The floor is covered with oak herringbone parquet, which, together with the old beams, gives a classic context to the contemporary interior. The room is fabulously beautiful, but it is also homely: cozy and warm. There are two sitting areas, both with a fireplace: on the one hand, in the living room, a sandstone fireplace with a wood-burning stove behind glass and, on the other hand, a modern gas fireplace in the charming garden room. On the left side of the house is the bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor. The former barn doors have been filled with glass and offer a view of and access to the garden and stables. Adjacent is the beautiful bathroom, with a double bathtub, spacious walk-in shower with rain and hand shower, a toilet, and a beautiful double sink. At the rear of the house is the spacious utility room with pantry, built-in cupboards, and connections for a washing machine and dryer. From the utility room, you can walk straight into the garden. Upper floor The bright and sunny landing—which embraces the central atrium—has three spacious bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower (with rain and hand shower), toilet, and sink. Guest house annex office The entrance is located both at the front and in the stables. From the stable complex, there is a bright hall with a series of attractive built-in cupboards. On the left is a storage room and the toilet, and at the rear is the large laundry room with connections for a washing machine and dryer. Adjacent to this is the lock – the walls entirely filled with glass – which provides access to the ground floor of the guest house/office, a magnificent open space in which the staircase serves as a room divider. There is an office space and the room where the large conference table is located. There are built-in cupboards and a toilet with a washbasin. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom.Stables and garageThis country house is designed for keeping horses. The stable complex is therefore magnificent! At the front is the space for motorized horsepower: the large garage (56 m²) with double, electrically operated roller doors. From the garage, there is access to the spacious attic (30 m²). The stable complex has three large stalls, a wash area, and French doors to the paddock. Outdoor spaceWith over 1.9 hectares, you have plenty of space to enjoy yourself here! Your privacy is guaranteed here by the beautiful planting of large, evergreen rhododendrons, beech hedges, and various deciduous trees surrounding the property. Iconic and contemporary architect-designed villa in popular BerkeloordThis striking architect-designed villa was built in 2019 in the heart of the picturesque Berkeloord residential area. Villa Vijverzicht is carefully positioned on a generous plot of 6,635 m² and forms a natural part of the park-like surroundings. At the front, the house overlooks the ponds of Berkeloord, and at the rear, the deer park of Lochem. Here you can live in peace and space, with maximum privacy and a permanent unobstructed view. The design concept was clear: create a spacious family home that blends into its natural setting, where transparency and security are in balance. This principle is evident throughout the house. The house is equipped with a geothermal heat pump, 30 solar panels and a buffer tank of approximately 750 litres. The A++ energy label underlines the sustainable and future-proof character of the house.Outdoor spaceThe garden surrounding the villa has been carefully landscaped. House with garden and terrace Almen (Netherlands)
Romantic Country House ‘De Kleine Ehze’, a gem nestled in the tranquillity of the Almen countrysideJust outside the village centre of Almen, with the river Berkel flowing nearby, stands a fairytale-like country house. An impressively beautiful villa in the beloved English country house style. With its thatched roof draped like a stole over its shoulders, the magnificent English landscape garden, and sweeping views of the surrounding bocage landscape, this elegant residence appears as though it has always been there. And yet, it is remarkably young for its category, having been built in 2001. Only the barn by the driveway recalls the predecessor of this magnificent home. Villa De Kleine Ehze is a classical beauty, yet young in structure and condition. The Master’s TouchThe design originates from the drawing table of Leeflang Architectuur, renowned for masterfully blending contemporary and historicising elements in such a way that the result gains a sense of timelessness. It almost seems like magic—this architectural firm consistently delivers outstanding results: a substantial country house with a living area of 379 m², situated on a plot of over 2.5 hectares, yet feeling entirely like “home.” Human scale has always been the guiding principle, resulting in a residence full of charm, warmth, and domestic comfort. Thanks to modern construction methods and standards, this villa is not only visually striking but also exceptionally comfortable to live in. It features excellent insulation, HR glazing throughout, underfloor heating, a lighting plan with LED spotlights, and a ground-mounted installation of 48 PV panels in the garden—earning it an impeccable A energy label. The interior is fully in harmony with the exterior, both in detailing and colour palette (beautifully curated in Farrow & Ball tones), resulting in a well-balanced composition.Villa De Kleine Ehze draws heavily in look and feel from its larger counterpart across the road. Huis De Ehze is one of the iconic estates the Achterhoek region proudly showcases. The 19th-century landscape romanticism is in full bloom here, as the surroundings were shaped in the 18th century when Huis De Hoogenkamp still stood here. In 1905, the current house in English country house style was realised, designed by George Nicolaas Itz. His design principles—abundant light and air, a large dramatic roof, refined window glazing bars, and shutters—create a charming image perfectly suited to the idyllic setting of Almen.AlmenA village to dream of, just outside Zutphen. Almen looks as though it was conceived by a poet, with winding paths and roads, an ancient church, a small village school, stately tree-lined avenues, rolling fields, a church path, a small shop, a tennis court, and a swimming pool for warm days—all embraced by the gently meandering Berkel river. You live less than ten minutes from the vibrant Hanseatic city of Zutphen, and centrally between charming towns such as Gorssel, Laren, Vorden, and Lochem, each offering a wide range of shops and amenities. Within 15 minutes you reach the A1 motorway, which connects you to the Randstad in approximately 45 minutes. The House – Ground FloorA tunnel of greenery leads to the driveway. The floor features robust oak parquet, perfectly complemented by underfloor heating throughout the house. At the heart of the room is a classic fireplace with an elegant mantel in French sandstone. Deep-set bay windows provide charming seating areas with garden views. From the dining area, French doors lead to the sun terrace. Custom-made oak bookcases are installed throughout the house. The study is a wonderful space where, surrounded by books and with stunning views over the gardens, you can focus on work, hobbies, or that one book still waiting to be read—or perhaps written. From both the living room and study, there is access to the atmospheric garden room, which opens onto the gardens on three sides. The integrated garage with two electrically operated roller doors accommodates two cars and includes a separate storage room and a fixed staircase leading to a large attic.Outdoor SpaceWith nearly 27,000 m² of land, you live here in a green oasis filled with lush flora. The grounds flourish year-round.The house is surrounded by a beautiful terrace with multiple seating areas, an ornamental pond, and richly planted borders. White and purple wisteria grow along the façades. The ornamental garden, designed in accordance with English landscape principles, is a visual delight and a paradise for gardening enthusiasts. Adjacent lies a classical orchard with apple and cherry trees, as well as wood storage. There is also a black timber-clad barn (Swedish style) for storing a camper or caravan, secured with an electric roller door. The old young-cattle barn, complete with a water well and a beautifully designed French parterre garden with boxwood hedges and spheres, offers an excellent opportunity for redevelopment—whether as a B&B, office, studio, workshop, or otherwise. Villa with garden and terrace Enschede (Netherlands)
Monumental villas with contemporary interiors are true gems, often featured in TV programs. This villa on Thorbeckelaan, built in 1926 as a rectory, is such a rare dream home. Designed in the Um 1800 style by architect Huijgens, the property offers a unique blend of nostalgia and modern comfort. Surrounded by greenery, the villa provides ample privacy while being close to the center of Enschede. The house exudes exclusivity and retains many authentic elements, such as the staircase and wood carvings. The spacious, high-ceilinged rooms with parquet floors are full of character. Recent renovations have added modern, sleek elements, such as an extension with wooden panels, all done in consultation with Monumentenzorg. Over its more than 100-year history, this villa has witnessed much. The ‘grande dame’ has survived two world wars, narrowly escaping the last. Bombings completely destroyed the nearby elementary school. To continue providing education to the children, a temporary classroom was set up in the rectory. During air raids, they would rush to a safe shelter in the basement. At that time, Reverend Nanne Zwiep lived in the rectory with his family. In church, he preached against the persecution of Jews, which cost him dearly. Reverend Zwiep was arrested and transported to Dachau, where he died in 1942. In his memory, a Stolperstein was placed in the floor in front of the villa’s front door. The rectory also served as a hiding place for refugees, revealed by a removable plank in a closet on the second floor. Behind the wall, the residents found a child’s shoe and old newspapers. Out of respect for the past, the space has been preserved. The history also brought beautiful moments: former residents, often children of pastors, would leave notes or ring the doorbell to visit their old home once more. During those visits, heartwarming stories were shared. The positive atmosphere of the rectory, always palpable, ensures that visitors feel right at home. The villa, shielded with a distinguished fence, is built on a mound. The terrace with the impressive double front door is reached via a stone staircase. Above it is a graceful balcony. In the entrance hall, featuring a small radiator and a new meter cupboard, begins the beautiful terrazzo floor. Through a glass swing door, you enter the large, bright hallway with the same terrazzo floor. Immediately, you are struck by the seamless blend of ‘then and now.’ Particularly impressive are the extensive door frames with artisanal wood carvings from the past. A large, round designer lamp on the ceiling—repeated elsewhere in the villa—represents the present. When lit, the pattern of the lamp is reflected on the walls, creating a magical effect. On the right, you find the first room with three tall windows. The former study now serves as a ‘chill room,’ but it is also perfectly suitable as a bedroom. In addition to the two monumental built-in closets, there is a third closet that houses the water softener. If you go straight right down the hallway, you enter a small hallway with two doors. The left door leads to a spacious, underground cellar with two windows. There are plenty of closets on both sides. The floor has recently been replaced with tiles in an ‘old style.’ Behind the second door is a restroom, equipped with a window, toilet, sink, and radiator. Returning to the hallway, you walk diagonally straight into the living room en suite. Furniture is almost redundant here; the living space itself exudes atmosphere. The area is divided into a front room and a dining room. The beautiful, glass suite sliding doors with built-in storage on either side allow the rooms to be separated. To maintain the symmetry of the monumental building in the windows as well, an extra window has been added to the outer wall of the front room. In that same wall, a flue is present in the middle, under which stands a wood stove as an elegant addition to the cozy ambiance. Warmth is also provided by radiators under the windowsills. The dining room also features radiators and a wood stove. The mantel above the stove is lined with Oud-Hollandse tiles, forming an original accessory in the otherwise serene room. Wooden sliding doors, framed with storage behind wooden doors, provide access to the backyard. From the dining room, you walk into the kitchen. The large, high windows offer a view of the terrace and garden. Here too, there is a sober, pleasantly calming interior base. The small, gray, antique-looking floor tiles are original handmade Castelo tiles with underfloor heating; how delightful! They share the same gray tone as the imposing cabinet wall with a large refrigerator, fresh-keeping drawers, steam oven, warming drawer, and kitchen cabinets that reach the ceiling. A stainless steel niche in the middle of the wall is the spot for the six-burner gas stove with an oven. The stove is flanked by spacious, deep basket drawers, with a concealed pull-out pantry on the right side. There is no lack of storage space in this practical kitchen. If cooking is your hobby, this is the culinary Valhalla. There is enough room to try out recipes for the tastiest dishes together. Prefer to watch? You can do so from one of the six stools at the generous kitchen island that forms the heart of the kitchen. A rail on the ceiling supports spotlights and pendant lights. The kitchen island has a stainless steel worktop and sink with a tap, Quooker, and built-in soap dispenser. You can place the dirty dishes directly in the dishwasher below. Very practical, and you can immediately join the bar for an aperitif. The kitchen also has a mantelpiece, which is currently out of service but can be reactivated. A charming detail in the kitchen is the pass-through in the wall to the dining room. According to legend, servants used it daily and frequently in the past. Nowadays, the pass-through mainly fuels your imagination… What all has passed through here? It could be a separate chapter in the history book of this villa. Adjacent to the kitchen, an extension was created in 2015. The passage is entirely made of glass and opens into the second dining room. In keeping with the monumental character of the house, the space is largely furnished in the same style as the rest of the ground floor. The same tiled floor as in the kitchen, white plastered walls, and high windows. The main difference lies in the style. The interior frames are made of the same wood as the exterior wooden panels. The space is lit by ceiling spotlights and pendant lights and features storage space against a ‘Delft blue’ wallpapered wall, a nod to history. After the dining room, through the small hallway, the inside and outside are separated by a sliding door to the terrace on the left. In the hallway, there are also sliding doors that disappear into the wall when opened, providing access to the wardrobe with hanging and laying options and a glass door to the outside. Depending on the season, wool mittens or sun hats can easily be stored in the extensive closet wall that spans the entire wall width. Beyond the wardrobe is the back door to the driveway and the street side of the garage. The shed cum garage is built in a matching style. The spacious garage with double doors at the front and back offers space for a car and storage for all kinds of tools and other items. If you’re creative, you can quickly turn it into a workshop. The majestic staircase with graceful, curving handrails featuring original wood carvings is a monument in itself. Ascend the runner and you reach a small landing with a large window and another small staircase. This is the ascent to the first floor, which is lit by the second round designer lamp. Various bedrooms feature spherical lamps on the ceilings. These are also identical to each other but smaller and different in appearance than the lamps in the hall and landing. For the furnishing of the first floor, uniformity in the bedrooms is key to serenity. All bedrooms are equipped with connections for TV and cable, multiple low-mounted radiators, monumental built-in closets, and several large sliding windows. Together with the high ceilings, the generous daylight gives a sense of freedom and space. The floors throughout the floor have been replaced. The light-colored wooden plank floors are made of the same type of oak as the herringbone parquet downstairs. The dimmable wall spots and white, double-layered roller blinds are also found everywhere. The white plastered walls in some rooms are decorated in various ways with a colored pattern. Arriving on the upper floor, you find five doors. Clockwise, the first bedroom is located on the street side. A double bed and a desk fit here perfectly. You still have enough space left. Behind the second door is the bathroom with a window, spatially above the entrance downstairs. The bathroom, done in a combination of white and brown tiles, is equipped with a hanging toilet, a shower behind glass walls, a vanity unit with storage drawers, a double sink made of black natural stone, and built-in taps. The wide mirror above it is framed with the same brown tiles as the wall in the shower area. The third bedroom is accessible via both the third and the fourth doors. On clear days, you can almost leave the light off in this bedroom. A large window and French doors flood the room with daylight and sunshine. From the small balcony, you look out over the backyard. In this room, the symmetry returns in the form of closets on either side of the French doors. Staying here feels like being in a luxury hotel. This spacious bedroom (above the dining room en suite on the ground floor) has three tall windows. One of them is part of a chic bay window finished with wooden wall panels. True to tradition, there are built-in closets on both sides of the bay window. Truly splendid is the ceiling here, adorned with authentic ceiling moldings and ornaments. Continuing the route, you reach the next sublime room, bedroom 5. Daylight enters through three windows. A contemporary wardrobe complements the hanging and laying space in the monumental built-in closets. No unnecessary accessories, just peace. And that is exactly enough to fully relax here. From the landing, two staircases, of course with a small landing in between, guide you to the second floor and the third round designer lamp. The villa’s impressive contents are once again evident here. Look down from behind the balustrade. What you see are not ordinary stairs. The monumental staircase resembles a unique piece of architectural art. Three doors form the selection menu on the second floor. The left door provides access to a small hallway with four more doors. The stylish villa boasts a second bathroom, housed behind the first door in the hallway. This bathroom has a robust character, thanks to the old wooden beams incorporated into the interior. The sloping wall with a skylight also sets the atmosphere here. In the corner of the bathroom, an oval bathtub draws attention. Relaxing in the bath is literally done in higher spheres here. A vanity unit with drawers, a black double sink in one, two built-in taps, and a wide mirror illuminated by a wall spot are placed in front of a wall. Behind it, there is a walk-in shower with built-in spotlights. All walls and floors are tiled with the same square, gray tiles. The next door in the small hallway leads to the sixth bedroom, currently used as a laundry and ironing room. Behind the remaining two swing doors on the right side is a space for a washing machine and dryer. The appliances stand on a noise-reducing concrete platform. Crossing the landing directly, you reach bedroom 7. This is a smaller room, also with a small bay window with a window, a sloping wall, and space for a single bed. While each room tells its own story, this room holds a particularly remarkable history. It is in the strikingly shallow built-in closet, where a plank seals off the space where refugees hid during World War II. Through the middle of the three doors on the landing, you do not enter a bedroom but instead climb a steep staircase to the attic. Should you, despite the abundant closet space, still be looking for a place to store, for instance, Christmas decorations, this is your spot. The surprisingly spacious attic, where you can stand upright, offers many possibilities. There is even a separate storage area. You could potentially create an eighth bedroom. The central heating boiler that hangs there dates from 2013. An interesting detail is the ladder lying on the beams. With it, you can reach the flat roof through a hatch. When you think of a cozy garden, you think of fruit trees, a sprawling lawn, a sunny seating area, and a covered terrace for cool evenings. This garden, accessible via the dining room, kitchen, and extension, has it all, including a pear tree. Matching the style of the villa, the paving consists of old clinkers. It is delightful to relax after a busy day at the outdoor seating area, from the loungers, or on the covered terrace against the garage wall. From here, you have a view of the garden, the back facade of the house, and the extension. Is it too chilly outside already? No worries, turn on the heaters, and you can enjoy beautiful evenings for hours. In the corner of the garden, you can take a seat under a third terrace’s canopy. A dense growth of trees and shrubs surrounds the lush garden. A wall covered in ivy forms the separation from the neighbors behind. On the expansive lawn, there is plenty of room for play equipment. Both inside and around the house, maintenance is up to date.
