In the middle of the gently rolling landscape of the Kleiner Deister lies one of the most renowned addresses in German horse breeding: Webelsgrund Stud. Since its foundation in 1956, it has been regarded as the cradle of noble Trakehner lines and has been the birthplace of numerous licensed stallions and internationally successful sport horses. Today's property covers around 20 hectares, of which around 19 hectares are rounded pasture areas that harmoniously surround the listed ensemble of buildings. The estate is rounded off by 2.9 hectares of leased land, bringing the total area to around 23 hectares.
The area is characterized by fertile clay soil, shady groups of trees and a natural topography - an ideal place for breeding and training high-quality horses.
