Cantacuzino-Ghica Castle in Deleni, Iași County, presents a rare opportunity to invest in one of Moldavia’s oldest boyar estates. Between 1944 and 1946, Soviet troops were quartered in the castle, causing extensive damage to the building and its furnishings. Following nationalisation, it housed a community cultural centre and, from the 1950s, a tuberculosis preventorium for children. Its medical use connected the property to the life of the local community and helped keep it in use during a period when many aristocratic residences were abandoned.

The park, home to a variety of trees, forms a verdant setting for the castle. Its trees screen views towards the village and soften outside noise, providing privacy and space for walks. The extent of the grounds and the relationship between the house and its park are significant assets for either private use or a future hospitality destination.
