He currently teaches Final Project of Master's Degree in Architecture at FAUTL and Project VII and VIII at UAL (Autonomous University of Lisbon). He was also Director of the Department of Architecture of the latter between 2004 and 2007, having also taught Project III and VI. He was also a guest professor at ESARC-UIC (Barcelona) in Proyectos II and individual supervisor of Final Project (6th year) at ESAP.In 1991 he founded ARX Portugal Arquitectos, with José Mateus.He has given and participated in numerous conferences on the work of ARX Portugal in several countries.
