An 18th-century Provencal dwelling and a small cottage surrounded by one hectare of flat grounds, alongside a river, twenty minutes from the beach. From the B road that connects Solliès-Pont to Solliès-Toucas, a small lane, which winds its way through a residential neighbourhood, provides access to the property’s entrance, located on the edge of a hillside. Past the gate, the drive provides glimpses of the last vestiges of the valley’s lime kiln activity – operational between 1815 and 1903 – where two 150-metre horizontal gypsum extraction galleries are still visible. At the end of the drive, several parking spots were created on the different terraced levels to the north of the main dwelling, making it possible to easily park five or six vehicles, while the sound of water is audible from the nearby irrigation canal that supplies water for the entire property via the use of stone sluice gates, which routes and distributes water throughout the grounds. Featuring a path that makes it possible to circumnavigate the entire dwelling, to the left of the cottage, used as a guesthouse, is a large piece of land, sheltered from view, which gradually descends towards the Gapeau River and provides breath-taking views of the hills in the backgrounds. As for the two dwellings, placed near one another at a right angle, they communicate with one another via adjacent patios, which are located along the dwelling’s eastern exterior and the cottage’s southern counterpart. With plaster-coated exteriors, largely devoid of any decoration, and rectilinear wide windows, in various shapes and placed in a somewhat symmetrical manner, the dwellings are topped with barrel tile single-slope roofs – one for the cottage and two offset ones for the main dwelling – in addition to the porch roof that shades its patio to the east. Moreover, these buildings boast several original touches that make them stand out from traditional Provencal constructions, such as the juxtaposition of the dwelling’s two volumes, vestiges of the transformations that it underwent over the course of its history, as well as the wrap-around layout of its windows on the top floor, which provide panoramic and enchanting views of the surrounding countryside.

Rich in character and authenticity, it combines architectural significance, timeless charm and exceptional potential within a beautiful natural setting. The origins of the estate date back to the early 17th century. An engraved stone bearing the date 1610, still visible on the original building, attests to its remarkable age. Built during the reign of King Henry IV of France, the property also retains an authentic period dovecote, a precious example of traditional Provençal architecture. Its thick stone walls, generous volumes and unique atmosphere reflect the quality of its construction and the richness of its history. The estate appears on the famous Cassini maps of the late 18th century and later on the Napoleonic cadastral records, confirming its long-standing importance within the Provençal landscape. At the end of the 19th century, it became the property of Noël Blache, a distinguished lawyer, historian, author, Mayor of Toulon and prominent political figure of the Var region. Under his ownership, the estate flourished and became a respected vineyard renowned for its innovative spirit. Today, the property is centred around an elegant manor house of approximately 500 sqm, complemented by a second residence of approximately 190 sqm. A characterful dwelling with a sweeping sea view and a walled garden dotted with citrus trees, nestled in the old town centre of Hyères in the south of France. It was under the reign of Charles I of Anjou, in the 13th century, that a fortified town with five gates was built around the chateau here. One of these gates, Porte Saint-Paul, still has the grooves of its former portcullis. The edifice has three floors and is built upon Porte Saint-Paul gate. It has been redesigned several times since it was first built and it was extended in the 19th century. Its elevations are coated with rendering and its window and door surrounds are made of exposed ashlar, as are its quoins. The windows are arranged in four bays along the sea-facing elevation. They are of different sizes. Most of them are arched and the others are rectangular. A double-row génoise cornice underlines a roof of barrel tiles, which crowns the main section. A turret marks a corner of the edifice. It is supported by the gate’s thickest pillar and is capped with a zinc cone roof that is crowned with a finial. Inside the building there are five apartments, including the three that are for sale and which lie on the ground floor and first floor. The current owners have brought the three apartments together into a single dwelling with a 160m² floor area. The dwelling surrounds a terrace and a walled garden dotted with old citrus trees. The garden faces south and enjoys absolute privacy. It offers panoramic views of the Îles d'Or islands and the surrounding hills, upon which Villa Noailles stands. The three apartments could be turned into three self-contained units, each with their own private entrance. From a small road behind Saint-Paul collegiate church, three steps take you to an old door, which leads to the building’s entrance hall and to a wooden spiral staircase. These stairs take you to the upper floors.

A California-style house with panoramic sea views set in 4,000 m² of grounds in the hills above Toulon. The property is located halfway up a sloping cul-de-sac, with an automated gate marking the main entrance. There are two secondary entrances on the south and north sides of the property. Once through the gate, five parking spaces are available, either directly in the large basement or outdoors. The house has three levels, extended by terraces. Each storey is set back from the one below: almost all the walls are of glass, with sliding glass doors and some concrete walls painted white. The flat roofs are either painted white and covered with gravel or form terraces, the largest of these extending across the first level, which includes a swimming pool. The roof of the second level is entirely covered with solar panels, for complete self-sufficiency in electricity.
