Casa Altringen is based on an old house, in authentic Banat style. A group of friends gathered around the idea of renovating and expanding the initial construction. It brought together his love for nature and the desire to share the delights of the country house with others. Altringen House is built on the most solid foundation: friendship.

The rooms are furnished according to the arrangement of a traditional Swabian house: linen woven from linen and hemp, dunes and fluffy pillows. Everywhere reigns the wooden furniture decorated and painted in a rustic style full of fantasy and, at the same time, unitary for each room. The credenza (cabinet for dishes) and the club (banquet) could not be missing from the dining table. And from the living room (intended for recreation), the fireplace.

With a golden past, Abrud has culture and history in its DNA. The town developed in the area of the Daco-Roman settlement called Abruttus, where Emperor Trajan sent a Roman legion to exploit the mines in 106 AD. Built in the interwar period, the road is now at the end of the modernization process and passes through areas of fairy-tale scenery, unreavealing churches and monasteries, castles and traditional houses with thatched roofs. Apuseni National Park, the third largest in Romania, is only 30 km from Abrud, a paradise for nature lovers. During the time when Romania was a Kingdom, the county bearing the name of Târnava Mică was formed, around the homonymous river, in Transylvania, Here, Târnăveni (formerly Târnava-Sân-Martin) functioned as a county seat.
