In the heart of the Pays de Gex, just minutes from Geneva International Airport, Château de Grilly embodies more than two thousand years of history. Built on the site of an ancient Roman military fort dating from 45 BC, the castle and its grounds have been carefully restored since the 1990s. The castle has been partially listed as a Historic Monument since 1987.

Another major advantage: an approved building permit allows for the construction of a residential building comprising four high-end apartments on the site of a former Gessian farmhouse. Designed with respect for the heritage setting, the project provides for approximately 705 sqm of declared floor area and twelve parking spaces.
Overall, the estate has potential for nine apartments, including the outbuilding, in addition to the castle’s principal living spaces arranged over two floors. The additional conversions envisaged within the castle do not yet have approved authorisations. An architect has nevertheless already studied these possibilities.
