A 17th century property, listed as a historical monument and protected as a "Bien de Interes Cultural" (BICN), the Château de la Fontaine was renovated in the 19th century and then in the 20th century.
Built in 1604, then enlarged later, the property now consists of several buildings, annexes and stables offering a total of 7650m2 on 29 hectares of land.
Capped by turrets with conical roofs, the castle also has a large square tower and an upper gallery, and an adjoining chapel with a nave and a semi-circular apse.
The main building and the tower are neo-medieval in character. The facades are rendered in ashlar... The balconies have moulded stone slabs and iron railings. The roof is made of Arab tiles with a combined brick and tile eaves. The tower has several neo-Gothic windows with pointed arches, arabesques and mouldings.
The last renovations were carried out in 2014 for the roof and the heating system which was completely redone.

The monastery of St Bruno, built by monks of the same congregation, was erected in 1503. Previously the home of the Moorish miners who settled there because of its proximity to the Mosque, which is still intact today, unlike the minaret of which the remains remain.
