Quinta da Granja is a unique property in the Tomar region, either for its size - 232 hectares of land - and for the architectural grandeur of its main building, whose construction dates back to the 16th century. and that between this date and the year 1543, the prior of the Convent of the Convent of Christ, Friar António de Lisboa, increased the built area, having to build a seat of houses with oratory, thus passing the palace to serve as a resting house to the freires of Tomar. On this floor there are two divisions that however stand out: a room lined with diamond tip tiles, from the first half of the seventeenth century, and the huge hall, where the old cells of freires open.
