This piece of architecture by the renowned Bartolomeu Costa Cabral, an architect considered the 'father' of modernism in Portugal, is absolutely unique. The T7 house includes, in the residential wing, four bedrooms and a gross construction area of 240 square meters and, in the work area, a body measuring 265 square meters, totaling 505 square meters of covered space. The earth used in the rammed earth was taken from the site itself, creating a harmonious and symbiotic integration with the land. The decoration of the house adds a very special and welcoming atmosphere, combining simplicity and modernity with vintage and antique furniture and objects, carefully chosen textiles and works of art.Electrical energy is supplied by a system of photovoltaic panels and stored in batteries, water is heated by solar thermal panels and comes from a borehole, while central heating is provided by fireplaces and radiators connected to a diesel boiler. Thermal control of the house is ensured by a roof with a 5 cm layer of water protected by insulating slabs, with a ventilation system to increase water evaporation, keeping the house cool during the summer and heated during the winter. nine hectares (90,000 m2) of land with Montado de Cork and Oak and a natural pond. Cork oaks generate income every nine years and an intermediate income every four/five years.
