The water comes from a drilled bore hole 150m2 deep with an independent solar pump with 4 panels and keeps automatically full a 5.000-liter deposit controlled with a chloride doser for domestic purposes and an Osmose Filter System for drinking water. For hot water there is a solar panel with a 200litre deposit, backed up by a gas heater.THE LANDThe property, is situated in the country side and is crossed by a water line in the winter and is surrounded by amazing landscapes and has the view of the secular Castle Monsaraz. It is completely fenced with 2 gates, one automatic for the main house and another near the Barn for the agriculture machines. And is divided in 3 paddocks, one with 8 hectares for pasture with holm oak trees, one with 1,5 hectares for hay and the other of 1 hectare with the horse shelter. The swimming pool is treated with salt and filtered by a solar pump powered by 3 independent panels. And the water level is kept automatically from the main deposit. The Barn is from the main house a hundred meters away. And is divided in 2 separated spaces with different entrances, one for storage and another for the Photovoltaic Central and agriculture purposes like hay storage, machinery and vehicles. The shelter is made of wood and covered with roof plates but is licensed and registered, and can be rebuilt with other materials and used for different purposes. The property is 1,5km away from the nearest village Outeiro. Outeiro has a couple of restaurants, a grocery shop, a barbershop and a Church and is 3,5km away from the Castle Monsaraz and 5km from the beach on the lake Alqueva. The Monsaraz Castle is situated on the nearest highest hill and has the most fantastic view of the surroundings and the Alqueva, the biggest manmade lake in Europe.
