Ref.4540 : Authentic 16th Century Manor House and its outbuildings in Mayenne department Set in the Haut-Anjou region, in undulating, wooded countryside, this charming property is located in Mayenne, not far from the river of the same name. A small town with basic amenities is just 5 km away. The ancient medieval city of Château-Gontier, 16 km away, is also crossed by the Mayenne and boasts a rich architectural heritage. These include the former Ursuline Convent (dating from the 17th century), which now houses a national theatre, the Romanesque church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste (dating from the 11th century) with its mural frescoes, and the timber-framed houses and concentration of private mansions that symbolise the wealth of this town.
