The principle of fulling mills is to have an axis driven by a waterwheel; this axis has cams that lift big wooden drumsticks which beat sheets laying in tanks filled with water mixed with a special type of clay. The sheets were therefore 'crushed' to reinforce their texture. This operation was deemed painful because extremely noisy, this is why the lord who owned the mill (back in the 17th century), operated 'fuller workers' working and living permanently at the place... The sheets then had to dry quickly and were exposed south to the sun?

The property is centered on its grounds offering an open view on both sides of the property. A lovely guest house sets aside facing the river. Further, a bedroom (10 m²), bathroom and toilet (6 m²), then the main bedroom (35 m²). On the second floor of the mill, there is a bedroom on the mezzanine with en-suite bathroom (20 m²).
